Key Indian equity indices open flat
Mumbai, Aug 29: The key Indian equity indices on Monday morning opened flat.
The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex), was trading 16.60 points or 0.06 per cent down during the morning session.
The wider 51-scrip Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was also trading 6.50 points or 0.08 per cent lower at 8,566.05 points.
The Sensex of the BSE, which opened at 27,827.26 points, was trading at 27,765.65 points (at 9.17 a.m.) in the early session, lower 16.60 points or 0.06 per cent from the previous day's close at 27,782.25 points.
The Sensex touched a high of 27,827.26 points and a low of 27,725.71 points in the trade so far.
