Social Media Week to be held in Mumbai from September 12
Mumbai, Sep 5: Social Media Week (SMW) -- a global digital conference that connects leaders across industries to "reimagining human connectivity" -- is scheduled to be organised in Mumbai from September 12.
The platform is known for telling success stories of experts who have embraced technology to their benefit.
"SMW is a platform where years of experience can be expressed via words. Social media is a tool raised by evolving technology that can be used to tell stories better," Prahlad Kakar, Advertising Film Director, Genesis Film Production, said in a statement on Monday.
Experts in the digital space will discuss the power of technology and its global impact on the event driven by the theme titled "The Invisible Hand: Hidden Forces of Technology".
The list of speakers includes Sean Gardner, Forbes no 1 social media power influencer; Vivek Nayer, Chief Marketing Officer of Auto Division, Mahindra & Mahindra; Satya Raghavan, Head of Entertainment, YouTube India and Gautam Bhimani -- presenter/commentator, STAR Sports, among others.
