MiG-21 crashes in Rajasthan, pilots safe

Jaipur, Sep 10: A MiG-21 fighter jet of the Indian Air Force (IAF) crashed near Barmer in Rajasthan on Saturday, officials said.
The MiG T-69 trainer aircraft took off from Uttarlai airbase near Barmer and it crashed after noon.
"Both pilots ejected safely. There was no reported damage to civil or service property," the Defence Ministry said in a statement.
The aircraft was on a routine mission. A code of inquiry has been ordered into the incident.
