'Irumugan' collects around Rs 10 crore in Tamil Nadu in 2 days
Chennai, Sep 10: Vikram-starrer Tamil action-thriller "Irumugan", which released in cinemas worldwide on Thursday, grossed around Rs 10 crore in its first two days in Tamil Nadu.
According to producer Shibu Thameens, the film has registered the second best opening for Vikram after last year's "Ai".
In an official statement from the producer, it was said that "Irumugan" grossed approximately Rs. 10 crore from two days in Tamil Nadu.
Directed by Anand Shankar, "Irumugan" stars Vikram in a dual role - a secret agent and an eccentric scientist.
The film also stars Nayanthara and Nithya Menen in the lead, apart from a host of supporting actors.
