Bus kills five-year-old in Delhi
New Delhi, Sep 14: A five-year-old girl was killed when a bus hit her, her brother and their grandfather when they were crossing a road here on Wednesday, police said.
Rishika Paswan and Sailesh, 7, were going to their MCD school in Saket in south Delhi with their grandfather Bhagwan Das when the tragedy occurred, a police officer said.
Sailesh and Bhagwan Das were severely injured, the officer said.
"A cluster bus on route 717 hit them while the grandfather was escorting the children and crossing the Mehrauli-Badarpur Road. The girl died instantly," the officer said.
The girl was a Class I student of the MCD School in Saket.
