Nayanthara not part of Mahesh Babu's next film
Chennai, Sep 16: Filmmaker A.R. Murugadoss has clarified that Rakul Preet Singh is the sole heroine of his upcoming yet-untitled Telugu-Tamil bilingual directorial with superstar Mahesh Babu.
According to reports, Nayanthara was rumoured to be roped in as the second leading lady in the film.
"Rakul Preet is the only female lead in my film with Mahesh sir," Murugadoss wrote on his Twitter page on Friday.
Tipped to be a stylish action-thriller, the film features Mahesh in the role of an intelligence officer.
The film also stars actor-filmmaker S.J. Suryah as the antagonist, apart from R.J. Balaji, Dheepa Ramanujam and Priyadarshi Pullikonda in supporting roles.
The film is being jointly produced by Tagore Madhu and N.V. Prasad.
