First look of 'Saala Khadoos' Telugu remake out on Saturday

Chennai, Sep 16: The first look of Venkatesh starrer "Guru", the Telugu remake of critically acclaimed boxing drama "Saala Khadoos", will be unveiled on Saturday.

"The first look of the film will be released on Saturday evening. The principal shooting commences from next Monday," a source from the film's unit told IANS.

To be helmed by Sudha Kongara, who directed the original, the remake stars kick boxer-turned-actress Ritika Singh in the lead.

Venkatesh will reprise Madhavan's role as a washed-up boxing coach, who finds a champion in a fish-seller, played by Ritika.

Y Not Studios, the company that had bankrolled the original, is also producing the remake.
