Centre to set up online talent scout portal
Kolkata, Sep 16 : The centre has decided to set up an online portal to scout talent across sports disciplines within a month, according to union Sports Minister Vijay Goel.
"The platform shall enable them to get identified for further grooming by renowned national and international sports trainers under the MoYAS," Goel tweeted.
"The portal will be an integrated website with online file sharing and social networking features, where any young sportsperson can register their videos/photos and other documents to provide evidence of their sporting talents. More info/updates to be shared soon."
"Creation of the Sports Talent Hunt Portal will be completed within a month and be a big boon for budding players to showcase their skills," his tweet further said.
