Rajinikanth, Kamal wish speedy recovery to Jayalalithaa
Chennai, Sep 24: Superstar Rajinikanth and veteran actor-filmmaker Kamal Hassan have wished a speedy recovery to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa, who was admitted to a hospital here after she had fever and suffered from dehydration.
Jayalalithaa was admitted to Apollo Hospital late on Thursday and was under observation and on normal diet, the hospital said.
Rajinikanth and Kamal took to Twitter to wish her a speedy recovery.
"Dear CM, I pray to God for your speedy recovery," Rajinikanth tweeted on Saturday.
Kamal wrote: "Wishing the honourable CM of Tamil Nadu a speedy recovery."
The Chief Minister "has no fever now and is taking normal diet", a hospital statement said on Thursday.
However, it is not known when she will be discharged from the hospital.
