Nathan DeSai, who shot six in Houston, used a .45 pistol, and investigators found a long gun and ammunition in his car.

He got his law degree from the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma. He was a partner of law firm Kenneth McDaniel at McDaniel & Desai LLP. He specialized in family law and criminal cases, felonies and misdemeanors.

The firm dissolved practice in February â€˜because the weak economy had hurt businessâ€™, McDaniel told Houston Chronicle. â€˜Our partnership dissolved in February of this year. It was simply an economic matter. We couldnâ€™t afford to operate as a partnership anymore,â€™ McDaniel told Houston Chronicle.

Desaiâ€™s father Prakash Desai told ABC News that his son was depressed because his law practice was not going well. He said he was not getting any business and he was upset for a long time.

Prakash Desai said his son lived near Weslayan and Bissonnet, the site of Monday\'s shooting, and that he drove a black Porsche.
