Pakistan Army shelling Indian posts at three places on LOC
Jammu, Oct 4 The Pakistan Army started heavy mortar shelling on Indian positions at three places on the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.
According to the police, after violating the ceasefire in Kalsian area of Nowshera sector in the morning, the Pakistan Army has started heavy shelling at Indian posts in three places in Rajouri.
"Pakistan Army has started indiscriminate heavy shelling on the LoC at Jhangar, Kalsian and Makri areas of Nowshera sector," a senior police official said here.
According to the official, the shells have fallen close to civilian areas.
"Indian Army has been responding appropriately and no loss of life has so far been reported.
The police said that shelling and fire exchanges still continue on the LoC at Jhangar.
