Akshara Haasan lands role in 'Thupparivaalan'
Chennai, Oct 8: Actor Akshara Haasan has been roped in to play a pivotal role in Vishal-starrer Tamil thriller "Thupparivaalan'.
"Happy to announce another addition to our 'Thupparivaalan' cast. A warm welcome to Akshara Haasan," Vishal wrote on his Twitter page.
Directed by Mysskin, the film is an investigative thriller, and features Vishal as a suave detective.
Also starring Rakul Preet Singh and Prasanna, the project went on the floors recently.
Vishal is producing the film, which will have music by Arrol Corelli.
Last seen in R. Balki's "Shamitabh", Akshara is gearing up to join the sets of Ajith's yet-untitled next Tamil film.
