Don't want to remain in the administration: Joe Biden
Washington, Oct 29: United States Vice President Joe Biden said he does not "want to remain in the administration, ruling out the possibility of becoming Secretary of State in a possible Clinton administration, media reports said.
"I'll do anything I can if Hillary's elected to help her, but I don't want to remain in the administration," CNN quoted Biden as saying on Friday.
"I have no intention of staying involved. I have a lot of things to do, but I'll help her if I can in any way I can," Biden added.
Sources connected to the campaign said Biden's name had been mentioned, among others, for the high-profile role.
Biden, an avid supporter of Clinton, has been campaigning for her aggressively, but has frequently mentioned that he wants to move to "a new chapter in life".
Biden is serving his second term as vice president and assumed office on January 20, 2009.
