Cumberbatch meditates to distress from film career
London, Oct 29: Benedict Cumberbatch says he meditates to make himself a better actor.
The 40-year-old has revealed that he practised calming techniques while filming for his role as Doctor Stephen Strange in "Doctor Strange", which sees him seeking healing after getting involved in a car crash, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
Speaking about the relaxation method, Cumberbatch told the I newspaper: "I practise meditating and mindfulness, but that's as much tool to be a better person, hopefully."
He added: "The idea that is very prevalent in this film - that your mind has the power to shape reality. You can imagine having a few nightmares with that world in your head."
