Lucky to be working with director Vamsy so early on: Manali
Chennai, Nov 3: Actress Manali Rathod is excited about teaming up with veteran filmmaker Vamsy in the upcoming Telugu comedy "Fashion Designer, s/o Ladies Tailor", sequel to his 1985 Telugu comedy "Ladies Tailor". She considers this project a big break in her career.
"To work with a veteran like Vamsy sir so early on in your career is very special. I consider myself extremely lucky and I see this opportunity as a big break for my career," Manali told IANS, and added she can't wait to commence work.
"It's a very cute role. I'll be seen in a traditional avatar and I can't wait to see myself on screen in this character," she said.
Starring Sumanth Ashwin in the lead, the film also features Anisha Ambrose and Manasa Himavarsha.
Senior actor Rajendra Prasad, who played the lead in "Ladies Tailor", will be essaying a key role in the sequel.
Vamsy, 58, is known for delivering memorable Telugu films such as "Anveshana", "Chettu Kinda Pleader" and "April 1st Vidhula".
