Emergency prisoners to get free medical facility
Lucknow, Nov 7 The Uttar Pradesh government will provide free medical facility to political activists who were jailed during the 1975-77 Emergency period, an official said on Monday.
Arun Kumar Sinha, the Principal Secretary in the Health and Family Welfare department, said people from Uttar Pradesh who went to jail during Emergency would be eligible for the free facility.
