Salman asked me to train Ram Charan: Rakesh Udiyar
Chennai, Dec 5: Celebrity fitness trainer Rakesh Udiyar collaborated with actor Ram Charan for his forthcoming Telugu actioner "Dhruva" on a special request from superstar Salman Khan.
"I've never seen somebody so dedicated about their body, but Charan is an exception. Salman sir told me to help him. I even consulted with Aamir Khan sir before flying down to Hyderabad to train Charan," Udiyar, who trained Salman in "Sultan" and Aamir in "Dangal", said in a video.
In "Dhruva", Udiyar worked with Charan briefly to attain a certain physique for the film's title song "Dhruva dhruva".
The song was choreographed by Mumbai-based Bosco Martis.
Directed by Surender Reddy, the film is the official remake of last year's Tamil hit, "Thani Oruvan".
Ram Charan plays an IPS officer in the film, which also stars Rakul Preet Singh and Arvind Swami. It will release on Friday.
