Did Rajinikanth turn down Aamir's offer?
Mumbai, Dec 9: Superstar Rajinikanth reportedly turned down Aamir Khan's request to dub for his character in Tamil for the dubbed version of upcoming wrestling drama "Dangal", a source said.
"Aamir had screened the film for Rajinikanth sir and also requested him to dub for his character for the Tamil version of 'Dangal'. Although moved by the film, Rajini sir politely turned down the offer," a source close to Rajinikanth told IANS.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, "Dangal" is the biographical story of Mahavir Singh Phogat, who taught wrestling to his daughters, Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari, who won gold and silver medals respectively for India at 2010 Commonwealth Games.
Jointly produced by Walt Disney Pictures, Aamir Khan and UTV Motion Pictures, the film is slated for release on December 23.
