Dilip Kumar expected to be home for birthday
Mumbai, Dec 11 : Veteran actor Dilip Kumar, who was once again hospitalised earlier this week, is expected to be home for his 94th birthday on December 11.
The mighty Thespian is recovering fast and his wife Saira Banu is monitoring his health.
"He is taking rest and we need your duas for him to recoup well and all should be fine by his birthday. Please pray for his quick and safe recovery," Saira Banu said.
Meanwhile, two of Dilip Kumar's ardent fans from the Bollywood fraternity, who celebrate their birthday around Dilip Kumar's, are praying for him.
Shatrughan Sinha, who celebrates his birthday two days ahead of the Thespian, said: "Mr Dilip Kumar, our most beloved Yusus saab, this country's most talented and enduring Thespian, is recovering fast at Leelavati. We want him healthy and happy. He is a national treasure."
Dharmendra, whose birthday falls three days before Dilip Kumar's, said: "Dilip saab is the reason I became an actor. We all look up to him and try to be like him. I am praying for him to recover quickly."
Dharmendra and Shatrughan Sinha are close friends of the actor and intend to pay their idol a visit on Monday. Hopefully they would be visiting the Thespian at home and not in the hospital.
