Kerala Association of New Jersey (KANJ) elects new officials

New Jersey: Kerala Association of New Jersey (KANJ), one of the most  prominent  Malayali associations  in the US,  elected new officials unanimously at the general body meeting held Edison Hotel, in Edison recently.

Swapna Rajesh, current general secretary is the new president. Other officials are: Vice President   -Ajith Kumar Hariharan;  General Secretary – James George; Joint Secretary Neena S. Philip; Treasurer- Abraham George; Joint treasurer – Sunny Valiplackal.

Charity affairs –Nandini Menon; Public and social affairs – Prabhu Kumar; Youth affairs – Kevin ; George; Cultural affairs – Deepti  Nair; Ex Officio – Alex Mathew;Media and communication – Joseph Idicula.
Cyriac Kunnath is the new auditor. Roy Mathew has been nominated to the trusty board 

Trusty board chairman Saji Paul expressed the hope that the new committee would strive  to  sustain the yeoman service Kanj has been imparting for the betterment of the community over the years . 

Trusty board members Jose Vilayil, Jiby Thomas Moloparambil, Smitha Manoj, Annie George, Abraham Thomas, Aniyan George, Dilip Varghese, Madhu Rajan, Raju Pallath, Sunil Tristar, Rajan Cheeran, Sudhir Kumar, Anil Puthenchira, Dr. Gopinathan Nair, John Varghese, Jayan.M. Joseph, Sheela Sreekumar, Malini nair, Annie Libu, Rugmini Padmakumar were among the attendees at the general body.

New President elect  Swapna Rajesh  asked for the support of the members for the programs she wants to start. She also thanked the members for electing her.

General Secretary elect James George  said he would work hard to nurture the enormous goodwill Kanj has generated in the community with its various programs
