Jammu, Jan 17: Denouncing Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh for calling recent snowfall "a natural calamity", National Conference members on Tuesday walked out of the Jammu and Kashmir assembly.
Singh told the assembly that 80 per cent of the electric supply was restored in the Kashmir Valley after the snowfall.
The National Conference legislators led by Ali Muhammad Sagar took exception to the statement and said that only 10 per cent electric supply had been restored in the valley.
