Tennis Australia enters into partnership with Rafa Nadal Academy
Melbourne, Jan 27: Tennis Australia on Friday announced a partnership with the Rafa Nadal Academy. The new agreement allows Australian players to train at the Academy's facilities, which Nadal opened last year in Manacor, Mallorca.
"This partnership gives our athletes access to some of the best facilities and coaches in the world at a location convenient to them during their travels to Europe," said Tennis Australia CEO Craig Tiley, reports Efe.
"Rafa epitomises our aspirations," Tiley stressed. "He is a hard worker with a massive competitive drive and a love for the sport. He has long held a close affinity with Australian tennis and the Australian Open, and this formalises that affinity."
