Key Indian equity indices trade flat during early session
Mumbai, Feb 8: Key Indian equity market indices opened flat on Wednesday ahead of the Reserve Bank of India's monetary policy amid mixed global cues.
The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) was trading 17.67 points or 0.06 per cent lower during the early session.
The wider 51-scrip Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was trading 0.45 points or 0.01 per cent higher at 8,768.75 points.
The BSE Sensex, which opened at 28,386.08 points, was trading at 28,317.49 points (at 9.16 a.m.) in the early session, lower 17.67 points or 0.06 per cent from the previous day's close at 28,335.16 points.
The Sensex touched a high of 28,391.64 points and a low of 28,310.05 points in the trade so far.
