Truce in war: Jio wishes rival telcos 'Happy Valentine's Day'
New Delhi, Feb 14: This act may remind someone of Sanjay Dutt's Gandhigiri in the movie "Lage Raho Munnabhai". Keeping aside all business-related competition, Reliance Jio on Tuesday wished Happy Valentine's Day to telecom operators Bharti Airtel, Vodafone India and Idea Cellular.
Reliance Jio tweeted: "Dear @airtelindia, @VodafoneIN, @ideacellular, Happy Valentine's Day. #WithLoveFromJio."
Reliance Jio is in row with the three telecom operators for not providing it enough points of interconnection. The matter is now with the telecom tribunal.
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has imposed a penalty of Rs 3,050 crore on Bharti Airtel, Vodafone and Idea Cellular for not providing ample PoIs to Jio.
