Defence Minister Parrikar quits to be Goa CM

New Delhi, March 13: Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar on Monday stepped down ahead of taking oath as the new Chief Minister of Goa.

Official sources told IANS that Parrikar sent a faxed letter of resignation to the Prime Minister's Office.
