Congress will win 208 seats in MCD polls: Maken
New Delhi, April 21
Congress' Delhi unit chief Ajay Maken said on Friday that the party will win 208 of 272 seats in the municipal elections according to an internal survey.
Talking to reporters here, Maken said the party had conducted an intensive campaign for Sunday's municipal elections.
"The party will win 208 of 272 wards in the Municipal corporations of Delhi. The projection is based on an internal survey," he said, adding the party will focus on door-to-door campaign on Saturday.
He said that the party had brought out six manifestos on different issues to provide solution to various problems dogging the the municipal corporations
