Two held with drugs valued at Rs 16 crore

New Delhi, May 3: Two drug suppliers were arrested here with four kg of heroin valued at Rs 16 crore in the international market, police said on Wednesday.
Ajay, 19, and Darbar Singh, 46, were taken into custody on Tuesday night from Uttam Nagar in west Delhi by the Special Cell.
"We had information that two members of an inter-state gang were coming from Punjab to supply drugs to their contacts in the Delhi-NCR region. We arrested them when they were waiting for a client," senior police officer Sanjeev Kumar Yadav told IANS.
