Gebretsadik, Jemeli win Prague Marathon
Prague, May 8: Ethiopia's Abraha Gebretsadik and Aiyabei Valary Jemeli of Kenya won the men's and women's title respectively in the Prague Marathon.
Abraha won the men's event on Sunday with 2:08:47 and Aiyabei won the women's contest with a record 2:21:57, which is 37 seconds faster than the 2011 record of her compatriot Lydia Cheromei, reports Xinhua news agency.
In the men's category, Bazu Worku finished second followed by Mekuant Ayenew, both from Ethiopia.
In the women's category, Ethiopians Amane Beris and Tadeleh Bekele finished second and third.
