Iran qualify for beach handball World Cup
Pattaya (Thailand), May 16: Iran have defeated Vietnam 2-1 at the Asian Beach Handball Championship here to confirm their spot at the 2018 IHF World Beach Handball Championship in Sochi.
The Iranians won by 15-10, 16-20, 8-6 in in the play-off for the third place, Xinhua news agency quoted Tehran Times daily as reporting on Monday.
Qatar beat Oman 2-0 in the final to win the title for the fourth time in a row.
