5 killed as truck falls on car in Jaipur
Jaipur, June 6: Five persons, including three women, were killed when a speeding truck swerved and fell on their car along with its over 400 tonnes of salt early on Tuesday, police said.
"The incident occurred early in the morning on Chomu House circle here in Jaipur when the speeding truck fell on a car. While four persons were killed on the spot, one died while being treated in the hospital," police told IANS.
"Prima facie it looks like a case of speeding and negligent driving," an official said.
The truck driver fled the spot. Police are searching for him.
