Iran to play Russia in football friendly
Tehran, June 14: Iran will play a friendly football match against Russia as part of their preparations for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
The friendly match will be played on October 10, Iran coach Carlos Queiroz was quoted as saying by the state TV on Tuesday, reports Xinhua news agency.
Iran became the second team to qualify for the 2018 World Cup beating Uzbekistan 2-0 on Monday.
Brazil was the first team to qualify for next year's World Cup in Russia.
