Tesla seeking relief' on indian import penalties
New Delhi, June 16: Electric automobile manufacturer Tesla's CEO Elon Musk on Thursday said that it is in discussion with the Indian government for a temporary relief on import penalties.
"In discussions with the government of India requesting temporary relief on import penalties, restrictions until a local factory is built," Musk tweeted in response to a query by Jasveer Singh asking: "When will Tesla come to India or plan has been postponed? #Tesla".
