Lok Sabha adjourned sine die
New Delhi, Aug 11: The monsoon session of the Lok Sabha was adjourned sine die by Speaker Sumitra Mahajan on Friday.
Mahajan said the House in 19 sittings, beginning from July 17, worked for 71 hours.
While around 30 hours were wasted due to disruptions and adjournments, the House also sat for around 10 hours 36 minutes extra to complete its business, the Speaker said.
Altogether, 17 bills were introduced and 14 bills were passed in the House during the Monsoon Session.
Mahajan thanked members for their cooperation in running the House.
