Kidnapped Delhi businessman rescued, two held
New Delhi, Aug 30: A businessman who was kidnapped has been rescued following a shootout between the police and the kidnappers here. Two persons have also been arrested, police said on Wednesday.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Rishi Pal said the businessman was kidnapped on Tuesday night from Rohini.
"One of the kidnappers tried to fire at the police party and they retaliated, injuring one of the kidnappers," Pal said.
The businessman's car and weapons used by the accused have also been recovered.
