Key Indian equity indices open higher
Mumbai, Sep 11: The key Indian equity indices on Monday was trading higher in the morning session.
The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex), was trading 168.52 points or 0.53 per cent higher soon after opening.
The wider 51-scrip Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was also trading 50.75 points or 0.51 per cent higher at 9,985.55 points.
The Sensex of the BSE, which opened at 31,798.31 points, was trading at 31,856.04 points (at 9.21 a.m.), higher 168.52 points or 0.53 per cent from the previous day's close at 31,687.52 points.
The Sensex touched a high of 31,874.13 points and a low of 31,797.89 points in the trade so far.
