Militant killed in J&K operation

Srinagar, Sep 25: The army on Monday said a militant was killed in an ongoing security operation in Jammu and Kashmir's Uri town in which three Pakistani terrorists died on Sunday.
Defence Ministry spokesman Colonel Rajesh Kalia said: "A fourth terrorist was killed in the ongoing Uri operation on Monday.
"The body of the terrorist has been recovered and the operation is still ongoing."
The three Pakistani militants were killed by the security forces in the Kaghi forest area.
State Police chief S.P. Vaid said on Sunday that all the slain militants in this operation were planning a suicide attack.
They infiltrated into the Kashmir Valley from across the Line of Control (LoC), Vaid added.
