India, Pakistan trade heavy fire on LoC

Jammu, Sep 2: The Indian and Pakistan Army traded heavy fire on Wednesday on the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police sources said Pakistan Army used mortars, small weapons and automatics to target Indian positions in Shahpur and Balakote areas.
"Indian troops are effectively and strongly retaliating. Till last reports came in firing exchanges were going on between the two sides," police sources said.
