Two J&K cops arrested for aiding militants

Srinagar, Oct 11: Two Jammu and Kashmir policemen were arrested on Wednesday for supplying bullets to militants in Shopian district.
Police constables Shabir Ahmad Malik and Nazir Ahmad were arrested after an over-ground worker of militants, Adil Ahmad, identified them.
A checking party of the security forces arrested Ahmad in Shopian town. Twenty bullets of AK-47 rifle were recovered from him, police sources said.
On interrogation, the arrested militant revealed that he had received the bullets through a friend from police constable Malik.
Malik in his turn, during interrogation, confirmed that constable Nazir Ahmad had given the bullets to him to be passed on to the militant.
