West Bengal to set up virus testing centres
Kolkata, Oct 24: The West Bengal government plans to set up virus testing centres in collaboration with the National Institute of Virology (NIV), Pune.
"Yes, we will set up the centres. We are planning one in Kolkata as well as outside the city. We have not yet decided the number," Health Services Director B.R. Satpathi told IANS.
He said the idea was to speed up detection of viral diseases. "NIV, Pune, will do the hand-holding."
