Much to the rejoice of local Indian community and after a huge demand MITHAAS Opened in Kundan Galleria located in Hicksville, New York. A signature fast food restaurant which has made its mark in New Jersey with multiple outlets, Mithaas is a vegetarian's delight from all parts of India. They are a symbol of quality. With Indian community growing by leaps and bounds in local region and now a classy Kundan Galleria which is strategically located and houses many prestigious outlets including famous Apna Bazar, it was a matter of time when MITHAAS will inaugurate. Hicksville and neighboring areas have special groups from Indian community that are primarily vegetarian and look for high standard food. Said Ravi Bhoopalpur,"We are excited to have MITHAAS in Hicksville now. We wont have to go to New Jersey to enjoy their food". Zinda Singh, a local from New Delhi said,"I had to alway sstop by at MITHAAS on way from New Jersey to bring food from MITAAS Home. Now I can bring my family here and we all can enjoy the food together". MITHAAS is known for speicality food from Rajasthan, Gujarat, Mumbai along with one from Delhi.

MITHAAS is headed by Kamal Arora, CEO and owner from Arora Hospitality which owns several food brands including Moghul Catering, Moghul Express, Mithaas, Aarzoo among others in New Jersey. Said Kamal Arora while talking to The Indian Express,"It is a dream come true and I wanted the perfect location in New York before I expand. Kundan galleria located in Hicksville offered what we wanted and I took the leap. I am so happy to see the initial response that assures me of a grand success. I am aware of customer expectations and am confident to exceed them. I have best staff inside the kitchen and on the floor to serve the best food. I will seek customer feedback to continue to improvise and experiment to make the MITHAAS a choice of local community. I can say MITHAAS is not about food but about our rich heritage"

The launch event was held on Monday November 11, 2017. The event was inaugurated by local Government officials and attended by the most reputed NRIs from local region. Kamal's parents and family joined to greet the guests and provided a mix of their best food to the guests which included, cohost Shudha Parkash Singh Jasuja,
