5 arrested after gunfight in Delhi

New Delhi, Nov 21: The police on Tuesday exchanged fire with a group of criminals here during a raid conducted jointly with the Punjab police to apprehend a wanted criminal from the state.
Five persons have been detained for interrogation and no casualties were reported on either side in the gunfight, according to police.
"A huge cache of arms and ammunition has been recovered, including 11 illegal arms, one pistol and more than 100 cartridges," said Shibesh Singh, DCP, South West District.
The raid was conducted at Gudia Properties, Shanti Park in Dwarka Mor to arrest the wanted criminal from Punjab, he said.
He said there was no confirmation whether the wanted criminal was one of them.
