Reserves Gani, Sahil included in FC Pune City squad
Pune, Dec 13 FC Pune City on Wednesday included two reserve players -- Gani Ahmed Nigam and Sahil Panwar -- in their main squad for the Indian Super League (ISL) season four.
Forward Gani and defender Sahil will replace defenders Wayne Vaz and Pawan Kumar, according to an ISL press release.
"The ISL player guidelines allow a club to replace domestic players in main squad with players from its reserve squad after the club's 5th and 10th and 15th game," the release said.
Both Gani and Sahil will be available for selection to head coach Ranko Popovic for the forthcoming home fixture against Bengaluru FC on December 14.
