Melbourne, Jan 28 Swiss star Roger Federer on Sunday defeated Croatia's Marin Cilic 2-6, 7-6, 3-6, 6-3, 1-6 to win the men's singles title at the Australian Open tennis here.

This is his 20th Grand Slam title.
