International Indian Icon (3iii) 2018 Season II Officially Kicked Off

Downers Grove, IL: Gee Vision organized the official lunch of International Indian Icon Season II on Feb 18 at Ashyana Banquets in the presence of various distinguished guests comprising elected officials as well as community leaders. The launch event started with a recap of season I and a thank you note to the Season-I sponsors and supporters by Sharan Walia CEO, Gee Vision.

Sharan Walia presented the Season II concept followed by question-answers with the guests. 3iii is envisioned as the world’s 1st on-line/on-site a grand Indian reality show narrative over five seasons culminating at the end of the 5th season. “The unique positioning of 3iii has proved to be the main focus of its success: no other platform in India or in the expat community has been designed to showcase talents amongst all forms of talent on a single stage. Indian Americans, Canadians, Caribbean, European live in that part of the world where the industry of entertainment thrives unlike any around the globe”, said Walia.

While 1st season of 3iii was open to talent across the United States of America and Canada in either of the three performance categories –Singing, Dance and Instruments (Solo, Duets or Groups), 2nd season is open to all countries of North America, Caribbean and Europe in 7 categories i.e., Singing, Dancing, Instruments, Acting, Pageant, Comedy and I Got Talent (Any talent). Participants will be evaluated by a team of Gee Panel of judges consisting of highly qualified and celebrated individuals from the field of performing arts as well as celebrity judges in the advanced stages of the competition. Entire competition of six levels is online and onsite auditions with On-site competition of country icons in respective country and Grand Finale into Chicago towards the year end.

One of the big announcements during the launch was the announcement of the new advisory board member Nick Patel. Walia also introduced his team members Phani Krishna (Program Director), Naveen Karna (Finance Director) and Prachi Jaitly (Talent Director). The core team members briefly talked to the audience and requested their support in any form or manner.

Martin Tully, Mayor, Village of Downers Grove was one of the guests. Mayor Tully congratulated the 3iii team for putting up a successful Season I in 2017 and assured of his support in Season II. Other guests who joined the launch were Brij Sharma (Chairman of 3iii Advisory Board), 3iii Advisory Board member Gladson Varghese and Krishna Bansal, Ashok Lakshmanan, Siva Moopanar, Sunil Shah, Gurmeet Singh Dhalwan and other community members.
