UPS flight makes emergency landing in Mumbai
Mumbai, March 8: An United Parcel Services (UPS) cargo flight from Bangkok to Mumbai made an emergency landing here on Thursday after suffering deflated tyres and a hydraulic system failure, official sources said on Thursday.
The flight, UPS-015 which had departed from Bangkok at 9.20 a.m., managed to land safely here around 12.09 p.m. after which the emergency was withdrawn, he said.
There are no reports of any casualties and the Boeing 747 cargo aircraft was reported to have blocked the main runway for a short period as the plane was towed away by the engineering teams.
