Canadian held at Delhi airport with fake ticket
New Delhi, March 23
The CISF has caught a Canadian national for entering the airport here on a fake ticket, an official said on Friday.
Kushminder Singh Bains was held on Thursday after Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel noticed him roaming suspiciously around the check-in area and "trying to go out of the terminal building of the Indira Gandhi International Airport.
"On enquiry, Bains revealed that he gained access to the terminal building on a cancelled ticket of a flight bound for Toronto to see off his grandmother," CISF Assistant Inspector General Hemendra Singh said.
Bains has been handed over to Delhi Police for further legal action.
