Dr. Thomas Alapatt to present the NJIPA Award to Arjun Gupta of NJMS

Arjun Gupta, has been selected to receive this year's NJ Indian Physicians Association Award, said a release from the Dr James M. Hill, associate dean for student affairs at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.

‘Arjun is a very deserving recipient, having done exceptionally well in his academic pursuits while attending NJMS. Receiving the NJ Indian Physicians Association Award is both an honor and a mark of excellence for him. In addition, it is a privilege for NJMS to have this award,’ the release noted.
The award will be presented by Dr. Thomas Alapatt, leader of New Jersey Indian Physicians Association at the annual awards ceremony and reception on Wednesday, May 9 at the university.

There will be a reception for Dr. Alappatt to meet the award recipient in the Grand Foyer of the Medical Science Building at 185 South Orange Avenue. This will be followed by the Awards Ceremony in lecture hall MSB B556, directly next to the Grand Foyer.
