New Jersey based My Dream Entertainment launched pageants

Company’s founder and CEO Mrs. And Mr. Rashmi and Janak Bedi who conceptualized and organized this pageant, expanded their legacy starting with the first Tri State pageant, Miss Bharat New Jersey 2018. With almost 40 contestants from Tri State and PA and a packed audience, the company’s first ever Tri State pageant Miss Bharat New Jersey 2018, held on 10th June at Crowne Plaza Edison hotel, New Jersey received an overwhelming response from the community and was a huge success. 

The Guest of honor hon’ble Dilip Chauhan who supported the pageant all throughout the journey, graced the occasion with his presence.

Mr. Srujal Parikh, the president of Federation of Indian Association (FIA) was the special jury member of the night along with Dr Kavita and Dr Sanjay Gupta from Ohio, Columbus.
Mr. Minesh Patel, the president of oldest and most reputed organization, Gujrati Samaj of New York was also present as it being supporting organization of this pageant.

Company CEO & Organizer Rashmi Bedi and Janak Bedi chose their reigning Mrs. Bharat USA, Mrs. Aanchal Pahwa Jindal to be the Director of the Tri State and Brand Ambassador of the Miss Bharat New Jersey 2018- A Tri State pageant. The team worked together to establish this pageant in Tri State, as a platform to empower women of all ages and to beautify women beyond their age, color, looks and recognize their wisdom. The vision of the pageant was to empower women and youth by giving them a platform to discover themselves and fulfil their dreams.

This one of a kind pageant, for the first time in the history of pageant industry provided On Board grooming and mentoring in all the major personality areas, such as: Stage communication, Style and body language, Ramp-walk and Fitness. With more than 15 hours of personal grooming, the mentors groomed women of all ages to discover and be the best version of themselves and finished them for the pageant and beyond.
Miss Bharat New Jersey is proud to announce Ms. Sanjana Uppaluri, as winner of Miss Bharat New Jersey 2018, Ms. Janki Upadhyay as the 1st runner up and Ms. Sonali Pathak as 2nd runner up of Miss Bharat New Jersey 2018. In Mrs. Bharat Category, Dr. Subhasini Kartik took the crown home, Mrs. Rashmeet Kaur was crowned as 1st runner up and Mrs. Sakshi Bhardwaj as 2nd runner up.

Empowering women beyond age, they had a Mrs Bharat Classic category, in which Mrs. Preeti Iyer was crowned as the winner, Mrs Nita Patel as the 1st runner up and Nisha Parikh as the 2nd runner up of Mrs. Bharat classic New Jersey 2018.

In Teen Bharat New Jersey 2018 category, Natasha Gantaram was announced as the winner, while Foram Pare and Kahini Chauhan shared 1st runner up position and Janya Varada from Pennsylvania was crowned as 2nd runner up.

The pageant’s special and the most loved category was Grandmom Bharat New Jersey 2018, in which, Sunita Dave was crowned as the winner, and the sister duo Shaila Ganatra and Jayshree Pandya were announced as 1st and 2nd runner up respectively.

Karan Khanna, an actor, model, dancer originally from Bombay who wowed the audience with his dance moves, was announced as the winner of Mr. Bharat New Jersey 2018, the talented makeup artist, Rushubh Panchal was 1st runner up and winning judges’ heart with his singing Maulik Patel was 2nd Runner up. 

The all in one New Jersey powerhouse performer, Pradeep Gupta was announced as Mr Bharat Classic New Jersey 2018. 

The highlight of the night was Special performance by Bollywood Star and former Mr. India, Aryan Vaid, and Tollywood actress, Aaditi Agarwal, who performed a dance medley with the contestant of Miss Bharat USA 2017.

Besides, the VIP Jury members Mr. Srujal Parikh and Dr Kavita and Sanjay Gupta, other judges who have immense expertise in their fields including Dr Swati Atluri, Ms Jyoti Soni, Varsha Namjoshi Naik, Mrs. Rekha Nair, Aryan Vaid and Aaditi Agarwal made a fair judgement and picked the deserving crown holders.

Guest of honor hon’ble Dilip Chauhan presented My Dream Global Foundation, a New Jersey based non-profit organization set up by My Dream Entertainment’s CEO Mrs. Rashmi Bedi to help women, American soldiers and kids with Special Needs, with a citation from hon. Assembly member David Weprin acknowledging ‘Mrs. and Mr. Rashmi and Janak Bedi for their dedication for the community and declaring it as an Esteemed Non-profit organization.’
The Director and Brand Ambassador of Tri State pageant Miss Bharat New Jersey 2018, and the reigning Mrs. Bharat USA, Aanchal Pahwa Jindal was also awarded with a citation from hon. Assembly member David Weprin for ‘Establishing this pageant in Tri state and further strengthening Women Empowerment in our community.’

Mr. Srujal Parikh, the president of Federation of Indian Association (FIA) presented My Dream Global foundation with a certificate for its ‘Esteemed association with FIA.’ Mrs. and Mr. Rashmi and Janak Bedi were delighted and honored to receive the certificate and look forward to the association. 

The event was immensely covered by local and national media including their exclusive media partner: India Life, PTC Punjabi, TV Asia, 8K miles media, Mr Sanjay Sura amongst many others. After an overwhelming response in New Jersey, My Dream Entertainment is all set to hold the pageant in Seattle, Atlanta, Columbus, San Jose and Dallas amongst many other states before nationals in December 2018. The Top 5 from each category from each state will be allowed to compete in nationals to be held in December 2018.
