North Carolina: Three young women from Gujarat's Anand district were killed in a car accident in South Carolina. The Volvo SUV they were talking about was speeding when it went out of control and went up to 20 feet off the road and crashed into trees.

The coroner's office released the names of the dead: Manisha Rajendra Patel, Sangeeta Bhavnesh Patel and Rekhaben Dilip Patel.

The driver who was injured in the accident on Friday afternoon is in the hospital. The crash happened on Interstate 85 near Lakeside Road on the Staunton Bridge, police said.
