Chicago, August 19 :
The Democratic National Convention (DNC) will begin, following a month later in Milwaukee, the site of the Republican National Convention (RNC). As he hands the convention baton to Vice President Kamala Harris, former US President Joe Biden will deliver a prime-time speech on the first day.

The convention is anticipated to attract about 50,000 attendees, with around 4,000 delegates also in attendance. "For the People, For Our Future." is the mantra that will guide the gathering. Official schedule details are still forthcoming, but Monday's speech by President and First Lady Biden has already been confirmed by Democratic National Convention authorities.

The Democratic National Committee has announced that Monday's event will be themed "For the People," and that speakers will be honoring Biden. The speech that former President Obama is set to deliver on Tuesday is titled "A Bold Vision for the Future."

The former president of the United States Bill Clinton and the former speaker of the California House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi will speak at the conference on Wednesday under the banner of "A Fight for Freedom," the source said. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff are among the speakers scheduled to appear this week, according to DNC officials.

On Wednesday, Mike Waltz, who is anticipated to accept the vice presidential nomination formally, will take the stage. Waltz is running mate to Kamala Harris. Harris will officially receive the nomination for president during Thursday's speech, which is dedicated to the subject "For the Future."

Harris, who had a bus tour of Pennsylvania over the weekend, will get to the convention quickly. The city of Milwaukee, where Trump received the Republican presidential nomination last month, will also be the site of her Tuesday rally.

The convention usually has a roll call vote to officially nominate candidates for president and vice president. But earlier this month, after Harris won a virtual roll call with the majority of delegates, she formally became the presidential nominee. Because of possible problems with ballot access in Ohio, the poll was postponed until early August. At the convention, a ceremonial roll call will still likely be held.

In late July, President Biden withdrew from the race and endorsed Vice President Harris to succeed him on the ticket. As a result, Democratic organizers had to completely revamp the DNC's agenda.

We are here at the United Center, where the Democratic Party convention is going to take place starting tomorrow," Biden's close aide Ajay Bhutoria remarked. I'm here to give you a sneak peek at the podium; on Monday, Vice President Biden will talk, on Tuesday, President Obama, on Wednesday, Governor Walz, and a slew of other leaders will do the same. On Thursday, our nominee, Vice President Harris, will accept the nomination here. She is the first Black woman, first Asian woman, and first Indian woman to ever be president.

Nearly 50,000 to 60,000 people are anticipated to attend the conference, so there will be plenty of exciting events. This is a really momentous occasion for our nation, and it will go down in history books. There are already quite a few people here, as you can see from looking around.
